I find it ironic that I come from network broadcasting. I was a writer of on-air promotions at NBC West Coast, writing teases and promos for prime-time fictional cops-and-robbers television shows—only to find myself eleven years later filming a documentary program called Cops for Fox Television. I spent over two decades traveling and filming Cops, acting as a sound mixer, cameraman, and associate producer.
